If outdoors is more your family's style, I love taking portraits at sunset time using the beautiful parks in Melbourne's east. My two favourite parks are located in Olinda and Boronia and offer a stunning backdrop at sunset. Outdoor photo sessions allow me to capture more natural moments of your family having fun together and your children being their cheeky selves.
If you have active children, outdoor family photographs can be a great option if you feel they will be too restless in a studio space. Even if sunset time is close to their bed time, I find young children thrive when outside and playing with nature. They also think it's pretty cool they are allowed to stay up late!
Children really do grow up too quick and updating your family photographs as your family grows is something you will always treasure. Displaying your photographs in your home will have you reminiscing about the days when your child/ren were younger. Kids also love to look at family photos and remember past times, and there has been studies to show how much it improves their self esteem!

Bookings for outdoor sessions are obviously weather-dependant, but sessions are flexible and will be re-scheduled when needed.
